On January 31, 2015, Denise and I gathered some of our closest family and friends at a tranquil, sunlit grove where we would profess our love and enter into a sacred covenant with God and each other.
One of the things I share with my couples when I meet them for the first time is that my wife and I were in their shoes just a few months ago. I know what it's like to trawl the internet for suppliers, ask friends for recommendations and watch video after video. I know what it's like to want to make your dream wedding happen, while still working within a budget. I also make sure to tell them the most important part: that all of the preparations will be worth it. I tell them, from personal experience, that if they're doing it for the right reasons and they work smart, they will succeed in their first major project as a married couple.
